Summary of this page

Dr Sahil Vohra obtained a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery at Saurashtra University, Gujarat, India in 2002. He then completed his physicians training (MD Internal Medicine) at Saurashtra University before moving to Australia in 2006.

Since arriving in Australia, Dr Vohra has worked as a registrar at a number of hospitals across Queensland and NSW, and obtained AMC General Registration in 2010.

Dr Vohra has spent the majority of his time training in acute and general care medicine. During his physician training, he also spent time in geriatrics, palliative care, nephrology and cardiology.

Dr Vohra gained broad experience in managing complex post-operative patients during his work as an ICU trainee. He also worked for two years in Westmead Hospital ICU as an advance trainee.

In 2020, he was awarded his Fellowship in General Medicine with RACP (Royal Australian College of Physicians). He is currently working part-time as a staff specialist in General Medicine at Wyong Hospital. With his broad range of experience in internal medicine and intensive care, he has special interests in perioperative medicine and prehabilitation.
